did you know…
Many businesses are building driverless technologies, but without building trust with its user, these technologies cannot be adopted. So how can we address the dissonance between safer technologies and people’s trust?
Over the course of 4 weeks, my team conceptualized AVA, a personalized voice agent, that starts to build trust with a first-time rider before they even step into a vehicle.
Through research, script and value modeling, interviews, user testing, experience prototyping, and more, we built a video sketch to demonstrate the ultimate experience.
This project was a tangible way to see the value of conversational user interfaces in progressive and personalized learning.
While the project holds many assumptions and is in early stages, it did become an opportunity to learn about conversational voice agents in design, crafting dialogue models, building concept videos, and better experience prototyping.
Some interesting avenues to continue exploring would be a better closing the gap between knowing what you can do with and doing what you want to do in the context of a voice agent. I also think that embedding more humor and cultural awareness with errors could be fascinating.
