Hey there, I’m Monica! I’m finishing up my last year at Carnegie Mellon University studying Human Computer Interaction and Information Systems, as well as (fingers crossed) a minor in photography.

I love design in that it is balances creative thinking with problem solving (and discovery), where the process is just as meaningful and just as beautiful as the final product. I believe working with others to approach problems with playfulness is a big part of innovation.

On the side, I’m passionate about film photography, coffee, and anything with pockets! Current amusements include failing epically at New York Times crosswords and cooking from the book Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat.
